This Emirati Women’s Day, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi is inviting the community to celebrate exactly that with an exclusive three-day programme of complimentary cultural experiences, inspired by this year’s national theme, “We Emerge Stronger and Better.”
Taking place from 28 to 30 August at Episodes, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, the immersive celebration has been thoughtfully curated in partnership with two celebrated Emirati Maison – Hind Al Oud and Reine de Roses — bringing together heritage, craftsmanship and creativity. More than a series of workshops, the event is designed as a celebration of the women who continue to shape the UAE’s future while creating meaningful opportunities for residents to connect with local culture through hands-on experiences.
The programme begins on Friday, 28 August, with the exclusive Karat Oud Workshop by Hind Al Oud. Guests will journey through the rich history of oud in Emirati culture, discover the craftsmanship behind the luxurious Karat Oud Collection, learn the art of fragrance layering and explore the different grades of oud before taking part in a creative activity decorating authentic oud chips with gold paint and gold foil. Adding a sensory element to the activation, a dedicated perfume discovery podium will be available to visitors, inviting them to explore and experience the brand’s fragrance collection.
The celebrations continue across Saturday, 29 August and Sunday, 30 August, when floral atelier Reine de Roses hosts two elegant floral arrangement workshops from 3 to 4pm each day. Designed to bring women together through creativity and conversation, participants will craft premium floral arrangements to take home while enjoying an afternoon inspired by Emirati artistry.
Adding to the experience visitors are invited to enjoy complimentary dates and Arabic coffee throughout the events.
In line with the Emirati Women’s Day Celebrations, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi will also be offering the following exclusive experiences:
