A Desert Stay For Ramadan And Eid At Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort By Anantara

This year, the golden dunes of the Empty Quarter become the setting for a meaningful and memorable holy month, with Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara inviting guests to slow their pace, stay longer, and find quiet moments of connection in the world’s largest sand desert.

Located 90 minutes from Abu Dhabi and approximately three hours from Dubai, Qasr Al Sarab is designed as a full-immersion destination rather than a fleeting visit. Inspired by the scale and presence of an ancient desert fortress, the resort stretches across sweeping dunes and palm-lined oases, home to private pool villas, dedicated wellness spaces, and dining experiences that settle guests into the soul of the Liwa Desert.

Throughout Ramadan, evenings at the resort centre around Iftar at Al Falaj, where the desert landscape softens with the setting sun. Available nightly throughout Ramadan from 18 February 2026, and priced at AED 485 per person, the menu brings together traditional flavours served with care in an atmosphere intended for conversation and reflection with loved ones.

Before dawn, Suhoor at Qasr Al Sarab offers a quieter counterpoint to the evening gathering. Guests may choose between a Light Suhoor (AED 215) or a Bountiful Suhoor (AED 365), both available via in-room dining or as an in-villa experience. With no need to leave the privacy of their accommodation, guests can take the early hours at their own speed, beginning the day calmly and without interruption.

A sanctuary of renewal, Anantara Spa forms an integral part of any stay. These experiences encourage time spent outside the villa without drawing away from the sense of privacy and calm that defines the resort.

Eid Al Fitr is marked across several days, allowing families and friends to remain together in the desert. From 20 to 24 March 2026, Eid dining at Al Falaj is served nightly from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, and priced at AED 495 per person, creating evenings filled with traditional dishes, festive specialities, and shared celebration.
